Week 14, 2022: Lifting the lid on an energy problem

It’s the week in which the UK energy strategy proclaimed nuclear is ‘coming home’, but the SNP locked the door to Scotland. The shift from oil and gas to renewable was scrutinised by SNP MSP Gillian Martin, whose regional survey threw up local anxiety. Polling showed the SNP are on track for a good council election, and Scotland swished its kilt on Tartan Day in the US and Canada.
