It’s the week in which Boris Johnson continued to shock and amaze a disbelieving public with denials about parties at No 10 Downing St. We watched leaders line up to call for his resignation and the prime minister say he’s going nowhere. Meanwhile, Scotland was given some free advice on tackling a shocking drugs-death crisis and the SNP Government set out its spending plans, including how councils may have to push up taxes to plug gaps.
